Nestled within the scenic Ooty Lake, Mogg Yelay Tea Boutique offers a serene and picturesque setting. Located inside the iconic Ooty Boat House, the boutique provides a unique tea experience with stunning views of the lake. Established by Mr. John Sullivan in 1824, the Ooty Lake spans 65 acres and has long been a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation took charge of the lake in 1973, transforming it into a popular boating destination. With the addition of a mini train and amusement park, the lake and its surroundings have become one of Ooty’s prime attractions.
